COMMUNION
POLICY AT HOLY CROSS
The Lord’s Supper is offered at every Sunday and Monday Evening
services. We believe, teach, and confess that the Body and Blood of
Jesus Christ is truly present in, with and under the bread and wine.
“Is not this cup and participation in the Blood of Christ...
Is not this bread a participation in the Body of Christ?” (1
Cor. 10:16) Therefore only those who “discern the Body and Blood
of Jesus” and have “examined themselves” (1 Cor.
11:28-9) as worthy, may receive the Holy Sacrament. “LUTHERAN
WORSHIP PAGES 306-309” may assist this preparation. Both individual
and common cup are available..
SPECIAL
NEEDS
If you have difficulty with the steps or coming forward for Communion
please speak with the Elder before the service; then be seated in
the front pew where you will receive the Lord’s Supper.

Available for children 0-3 years old
